Who is Dr. Solomon

Dr. Jennifer Solomon is a licensed psychologist. Dr. Solomon received her Associate in Arts from Tallahassee Community College (TCC), graduating with honors.  At TCC she was a member of the 1997 All Florida Academic Team and a recipient of the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.  She obtained her undergraduate degree at Florida State University (FSU), where she majored in psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors. At FSU, Dr. Solomon was awarded the Honorary Achievement in the Department of Psychology in Recognition of Excellence in Research.  Dr. Solomon was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, and served on the 1998/99 Student Advisory Committee for the College of Arts and Sciences.  Dr. Solomon received her Ph.D. from the APA Approved Combined Program in Counseling and School Psychology from Florida State University.  Dr. Solomon concluded her doctoral studies with an internship at the APA-approved Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) in Miami, FL. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at The Psychological Center for Growth and Development in Thomasville, GA, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults.  Dr. Solomon has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of developmental, educational, and behavioral disorders among children, adolescents, and young adults, including working with families. She also specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with autism, as well as their families and schools. She was the former Clinical Director for the Thomasville Autism Center. Dr. Solomon currently provides psychological evaluations, therapy, and family counseling for emotional, educational, developmental, and behavioral-related issues. These include depression, anxiety, grief, divorce, social skills, etc. Dr. Solomon conducts psychological evaluations for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), specific learning disabilities (SLD), and emotional/psychological concerns.
